A new year brings new resolutions. Take stock in what you accomplished in 2024 and set new goals for 2025. What do you want to get done? Where do you want to go? Who do you want to see? How much do you want to make? What do you need to do to get there? Create a plan and a timeline to achieve your goals.
“Nothing tastes as sweet as victory feels.” I sure do love that feeling of winning after I’ve put everything on the line to reach for my dreams.
Last year my goals included spending more quality time with my family, improving my healthy lifestyle, and traveling to exciting destinations. When I look back on the things I accomplished and set new goals for the coming year, I realize that every experience was a gift and I am thankful for each one.
My wish for you this year is that you achieve everything you set your mind to! If you happen to be a person who finds it hard to stick to goals and New Year’s resolutions, try to make a single stand. Take on your biggest challenge. Stop running from your fears. They will only make you unhappy and stop you from achieving your true potential. Nelson Mandela stated, “I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.”
We all have excuses about why our lives are not where we would like them to be. But until we take 100% responsibility for our successes and failures, we will never be content. We cannot control every aspect of our lives, but we can control our outlook on life — how we think, feel, and act. Bad stuff happens to all of us. It’s part of life. Recognize this fact and accept that every situation’s outcome depends on how you handle it. The road you travel is your choice and your responsibility.
My challenge for 2025 is to solve my biggest problems. The bigger the problem solved, the greater my success will be. Everything I’ve ever wanted is found on the other side of fear. Go face your biggest fear and conquer it! There’s no better moment to get started achieving the life you want … Go Big in 2025!
