Conquer your biggest challenges.

“Courage is resistance to fear, mastery of fear, not absence of fear.”

Mark Twain

A new year brings new resolutions. Review what you accomplished in 2023 and set new goals for 2024. What do you want to get done? Where do you want to go? Who do you want to see? How much do you want to make? What do you need to do to get there? Create a plan and timeline to achieve your goals.

“Nothing tastes as sweet as victory feels.” I love that feeling of winning after I’ve put everything on the line to reach for my dreams.

Last year my goals were related to my health, my business, and my family. I crossed off many of them that included more quality family time, improving my healthy lifestyle and counting my blessings. Everything I have achieved is a gift. I have learned to appreciate every moment of every experience!

My wish for all of you this year is that you achieve everything you set your mind to this year! If you are a person who finds it hard to stick to goals and New Year’s resolutions, try to make a single stand. Take on your biggest challenge. Stop running from your fears, as they will only make you unhappy and stop you from achieving your true potential. Nelson Mandela stated, “I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.”

We all have excuses as to why our lives are not where we would like them to be. But until we take 100% responsibility for our successes and failures, we will never be content. We cannot always control our lives, but we can control our outlook on life — how we think, feel, and act. Bad stuff happens to all of us. It’s part of life. Recognize this fact, accept it and let go of fear. Step out and make a change. Accept that every situation and its outcome depends on how you handle it.

My challenge for 2024 is to solve my biggest problems. The bigger the problem solved, the greater my success. I know I have been avoiding taking them on because I know the pain and fear involved. But I also know it will give me the greatest satisfaction as I make these changes in my life.

British billionaire, Sir Richard Branson started Virgin Airlines because of his personal experience with chartering a plane. Through his frustrating experience, he decided he could provide a better service and decided to start an airline. Why? Because he felt he was prepared to solve the bigger problems. He started Virgin Airlines and tackled British Airways head on. There’s no better moment to get started achieving the life you want … Go Big in 2024!
